KJ,

>> Are Jerky Movements a characteristic of all cases of Cerebral Palsy?

No, but they are of some types of CP,
and as some of us have seen, they can become more frequent or pronounced
as we get older.

>> I wanted an assessment for somewhere else, my caseworker said okay
and

Why did your caseworker say to stop
going to Cornerstone, when you asked about an assessment for someplace
else?

>>come the first of the next year, you will be kicked out of the house
and
>>be at Cornerstone permanently and lose your guardianship.

Are you your own guardian now, or are
your parents your guardian?

>>our agency which has a personal care services department - unlike
other
>>ILC's - only offers that service in the La Crosse area.

Have you considered the possibility of
moving to LaCrosse?

You had a lot of good questions for your
caseworker; I'd be interested in the answers to more of those questions.

Sorry to hear about your dad's accident.
Janet got a compression fracture of a vertebra, so I've seen how painful
that can be. Luckily, most people recover from them completely. Janet
did.

Glad to hear that your grandmother's
doing better.

Married to Janet for 8 wonderful years on July 26th - a week from
tomorrow [gulp!]
(We got married on the 7th anniversary of the ADA - Lucky 7, and all
that!).

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all
progress depends on the unreasonable man.

mag, Mag, MAG,

NO, I DON'T WANT TO STOP GOING TO CORNERSTONE. (unless I find something
to do that is different) i DON'T WANT MY PARENTS TO KICK ME OUT . If I
was to stop going to Cornerstone, come January first, 2006, I will be at
Cornerstone all of the time and lose my guardianship. No, they don't
work for Cornerstone or own it. I go to Cornerstone just so they can
have a break.
