XP Reinstall boots only with CD in drive

I reinstalled XP pro on this Dell Dimension 8300 after a drive failure, and
now it won't boot unless the Recovery CD is in the drive.
Boot.ini looks just like the one here:

Boot is set to Hard drive, and I've tried Fixmbr and Fixboot.
The only drive is a Maxtor 160 GB SATA.
