Yesterday I rang the GP to ask an opinion on anti-parasite drugs or natural
remedies. I do not notice having any but think it might be smart to
de-parasite myself maybe since you don't notice everything.
Anyway, the GP heard I eat a lot of raw foods (she thought veggies only) and
warned against that. Her argument is that raw is sooooo heavy on the stomach
it can cause problems. I have a rumbling belly after swimming in a lake last
friday and it's been very very hot here so perhaps I picked up a bug or
something, hence my question.
I told her I try to eat most foods raw and still eat a lot cooked but am
trying to get as much natural as possible.
You are not going to believe this! She thinks that's too heavy for humans and
a light cooking is best! To my question of how we developed and what place raw
food took there she had no answer. BUT she was quick to say that eating raw
will deplete magnesium and zink.
Now I know not to give my dog only raw meat for instance since that will kill
him in a fortnight. So he gets bones, meat veggies etc like like nature
intended. Me as the human animal that I am, try to eat what I think I'm
designed for too and eventhough I fully believe we may have used fire for
cooking there is still a place for raw.
Anyhow, does anyone have data on magnesium and zink depletion while eating
raw-ish? It's the first time I ever hear about it and I'd like to show her a
few facts. Mind you, she is even an antroposofical dr who ought to know
better.

Boink, my last shred of faith in the medical world just went out of the
window... She (the dr) is full of acne, looks quite pale and has dark circles
under her eyes...
