Hello all,
I was all set to download version 7.1 until I received the below e-mail.
Anybody on this list having the same experiences?
Thank you and read on.

Regarding the release of Jaws 7.1, over the last several months I've been
testing the beta releases and have downloaded the final releases of 7.1,
both the professional version edition and the windows 98 edition.
I've been extremely unsatisfied with the release. Many bug fixes claimed by
Freedom Scientific to have been addressed during the beta tests remain. A
number of applications which worked perfectly well for me in version 7.0,
now have problems including some form views in Access. Also, support for
quite a few of the older synthesizers in the Windows 98 edition has been
dropped.
assessments of the release on a number of the Jaws related listservs has
been uniformly negative. For what it's worth, I would strongly suggest
avoiding this release.
Tony
