I'm a big fan of Canon printers; primarily because their cartridge
prices aren't nearly as high HP and also because of the print quality.
I have a BJC-2110 and a PIXMA 4200.
If, in fact, you are talking about a BJC-2000 series printer, the "inner
box" with the print heads is pretty spendy. You might try e-bay for a
replacement printer. I got a BJC-2110 on e-bay for $7 and swapped out
the print heads and cartridges from it to my printer. That's
considerably cheaper than the $25-$35 cost for print heads.
