YOu should check with Logitech, but I would suspect that the mice, keyboard, optical gizmo combos are specific to each other. If the red light is flickering and there is white powder the mouse's life is about over. Check Overstock.com for refurbed or closeout Logitech combos at a reasonable price with $2 shipping on almost everything.
