Our monitor will not show all of the info on the screen - we have to scroll left & right using the scroll bar at the bottom of the screen. We cannot move the slider to change the screen area in settings from 640x480 pixels. Do we need a different video card? If so, how do we know what to buy? Where do we buy it? How do we install it? We have an IBM 300PL 6862-29U and a Compaq FS7600 monitor. Windows 98 is the operating system. Also, if you could only read one book to help you understand computers, which book would it be?
Thank you for any help you may offer.
Karen
