In addition to using LavaSoft's AdAware and Spybot S&D, you may wish to run
Norton AV with the system restore turned off on all drives. Many times these
spy robots will reside in those protected files and AV programs can't reach
them to clean them out.

Just a thought, at least worth trying. Remember to turn restore back on
after the scan.
