(You need the six disk set that corresponds to your particular version of Windows XP.) This is explained in the article "How to obtain Windows XP Setup boot disks" at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;310994&Product=winxp Once you've booted from floppy into XP Setup, your computer should be able to read from the Windows XP CD-ROM. You can download the compressed files that will create your Setup boot disks at the following Microsoft Web sites: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=E8FE6868-6E4F-471C-B455-BD5AFEE126D8 Microsoft Windows XP Professional http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=55820EDB-5039-4955-BCB7-4FED408EA73F If one or more of these links get broken, please paste them together and then into your browser's address window.
