This is just a guess, but I would suspect you are running out of memory. Win 98 is very bad about releasing memory when you run and close apps. I think this is what is slowing down your wireless keyboard and mouse. A good starting place these days with memory being reasonably cheap is 512 Mb.

>My keyboard and mouse functions get very sluggish after about 1.5 to 2 hours. I can restart my computer and everything works just fine for another couple of hours, and then I have to restart again. I have a wireless Compaq keyboard and mouse installed about three months ago. The batteries test good. I'm running MS 98, and the computer is 3.5 years old with 128 megs of RAM. Would appreciate any comments on what I can do to fix this problem. Thanks from a new member. Tom Daniel
