It sounds as though you may need different drivers for this latest cd rom.
Try going to www.bootdisk.com and have a good look round the site. I found a
small program there once called CDROMGOD which you boot the pc with and you
get the choice of about 40 different cd rom drivers. Once you have
established which one works this particular CDrom, then you just carry on
with the loading of the o/s as normal. It's very easy to use and fits on a
floppy.
