In my opinion squash is ok. Don't worry too much, you will learn as you go.

>Also, what would Almond meal be used for?
Meal from nuts can be used to bake "cookies, bread, pancakes" etc. It's nice
to use in the beginning as a substitute for bread. Also nuts contain a lot of
fat and it will help you to feel satiated and lose weight.
Sounds contradictive but somehow the more fat you eat, the better the
weighloss.
At least, like Ginny said, all in reasonable portions. Not like drinking a
bottle of oliveoil or something;-)

Take it easy, just try to eliminate processed foods and see how you will
chance. Don't worry if you are feeling something like detox. Most people will
feel a bit under the weather after 2 or 3 days, that's just withdrawal from
carbs. Last year friends of mine started eating Paleo and they felt it
clearly. Even their little girl age 2, was crancky for a day. Then everybody
cleared up and felt better then they had for 20 years.

Good luck Lynn, feel free to ask anything you like.

Christy
