Hi Ken,

Sorry Ken, I don't undestand this.

I thought "academic types" published "results" in academic journals, the
public (who would probably here of it through the general media, rather than
the original report) may well think it foolish. It would no matter a jot to
the author, his concern is that his peers accept his results and hopefully
reproduce them.
