Charter Communications is getting ready to launch a new cable channel,
Telemundo Wisconsin! This is the first cable channel in the state to
feature local programming for the Latino community in Wisconsin. This
is
an opportunity for local groups to air their issues and concerns on a
television channel with local programming for the Latino population in
mind. Charter is planning an event to launch Telemundo Wisconsin on
Tuesday, March 1st, at 1pm in the Community Room of the Catholic
Multicultural Center at 1862 Beld Street in Madison. We would like to
have some of the leaders in Madison's Latino community present and
Charter encourages you to attend.



Before the event, one of the reporters at Telemundo Wisconsin, Yamilet
Virgin, would like to sit down with some of you and talk about issues
that are going on in Madison. This will probably get started a little
after noon on Tuesday and it will also be held at the Catholic
Multicultural Center.
