Hi Sonny,

Yes, it is possible. The motherboard has to support it. I know at least some
of the more recent Asus motherboards support it (my P4P800-E does).

Greetings...

I was just curious about something... Is it possible
to do a FULL installation of WindowsXP onto an
external hard drive (FireWire or USB 2.0 based
enclosure) and then be able to boot from it while
connected to your PC???

I know that this kind of setup is possible on the Mac
platform but I was wondering if this can be done on a
WindowXP box????
