It sounds as though you may have a disk overlay program. This was used to
allow some PCs to recognize HDs larger than (8?) MBs. Look for a key
combination mentioned briefly at startup to enter the overlay setup. I know
Maxtor used this, as well as others. You may need a program (free) from the
disk manufacturer to delete the program.

I downloaded a new Win95/95a Boot Disk from FreePCHelp here and ended up
with the same problem. I have tried this numerous times and at one point
actually got a Incorect Dos Version Error but since have gotten the invalid
media.

               The NOSPIN Group Promotions is now offering
