I have have struggled through dry, inchy, welting skin for years, trying
all the conventional wisdom to overcome it. Nothing really did until I
went paleo, that is, until I stopped using soap. Although not food, soap
obviously is a post-stone-age product. Hardly ever use it now except to
wash my hands and head. Beyond that, I either just shower with plain
water or a non-soap cleanser like "Centaklenz" (expensive but if you get
your body wet before using, a little bit spreads a long way, so the
bottle will last for a long time). Then I also use a plain vanilla
mosturizing cream, again extending usage by leaving the body wet before
applying. I have'nt looked into finding a natural non-soap cleaner or
mosturizer, but that would be a logical next step. Bottom-line though,
stopping soap usage was the big thing,

La.
