Hi all,
Long-time lurker, infrequent contributor Mike here! I've recently begun
drinking coconut milk purchased at my local grocery store, canned by a
company called Goya. The ingredients are: coconut milk, water, potassium
metabisulfite (as a preservative). The macronutrient breakdown is 93 cal, 9
g of fat, 2 g of carbohydrate, 2 g of protein. I love this stuff! As a
snack, I'll have a few spoonfuls of almond butter washed down with coconut
milk. I know some of you are big fans of coconut oil, but what about coconut
milk? I'm also concerned about the potassium metabisulfite. Is it gonna kill
me?
TIA, Mike
