Margerine is definitely among the worst things you can eat, as unnatural as it gets!!! I eat butter in moderation; if you fear the casein-protein you might want to clarify it first, so as to only get pure butter-fat. Otherwise a healthy vegetable oil (not maize/corn, rapeseed/canola and their ilk) or - obviously! - melted animal fat.
