My sincerest thank you to the more than thirty people who responded to my
questions about what causes and how to deal with a racing heart and
fainting/dizzy spells. I cannot express how much I appreciate the
thoughtful suggestions and your genuine concern!

It sounds like many people have experienced these symptoms or similar ones,
and I did receive summary requests, so I hope that sharing the responses
are helpful to others, as well.

First, and most importantly, many people suggested that I go to the doctor
and reminded me that not all of my health issues are necessarily related to
Celiac.

Responses suggested that possible causes might be: anemia, low blood
pressure, inner ear problems, vertigo disorder, B vitamin deficiency, other
food allergies, thyroid issues or Grave's disease, protein shortage,
hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), a neurocardiogenic syndrome, Vaso Depressor
syndrome, dehydration, tachycardia, orthostatic hypotension, Super
Ventricular Tachnicardia, endolymphatic hydrops, Meniere's, or magnesium
deficiency. I will definitely be looking into many of these possibilities,
starting with a trip to my doctor.

Some people did connect similar symptoms with ingestion of gluten, and
others experience similar reactions as a result of other food allergies,
including those to MSG.

Suggestions people made were to stay hydrated by drinking more water and
Gatorade, consider taking supplements, including iron, vitamin E (for the
heart), liquid chlorophyll (which helps with iron and protein deficiency),
and magnesium. Other people found relief from similar symptoms through
holistic treatments.

Thank you all for your help! I have not been taking my vitamins as
regularly as I should, so I will start that right away and I will be going
to the doctor soon to investigate this further! Thank you so much!!

Have a safe and healthy holiday weekend!!

--Louise
