I discovered yesterday that my hand dishwashing soap has wheat protein in it.  It may also be in my dishwasher detergent (same brand name). 

So, since I am relatively new at this...
What do you use to hand wash dishes, put in the dishwasher and clothes washer that gives you good results but is not drying?  (For instance, I find Dawn very hard on my hands.)

I will happily summarize.
