You can share a dialup connection. I'll leave the question of whether you
should to someone else. You need an external modem and a router (not a hub)
that has a serial port. They are getting hard to find in the SOHO market but
both SMC and Netgear still make them.  You can also use an ICS on one of the
computers with a hub.

I have a question concerning hubs/routers-can they be used to share a dialup
connection?A coworker asked this and I'm unsure what to tell him (He doesn't
