I was in Tesco (UK supermarket) the other day and bought some Columbus
brand eggs. They are supposedly omega-3 rich, but the inside of the
box explains that they have a vegetarian diet including grains and
soya(!)- it mentions other things too, but I've chucked the lid. I
notice that the Tesco brand organic eggs are from roaming chickens.
Does anyone know if they are also grain fed? I would not be suprised
if the "standard" organic eggs had better omega-3 levels than the
Columbus ones, and probably have better overall nutrional value too.
