I don't know as it is actually throwing stones, but maybe a constructive
criticism, when we love someone we sometimes might tell them something they
may not like, but after thought, perhaps there is something they can change,
I see your point though, it's hard on both sides.
In the church I was in previously, they were always forever building
something, a ball field, an extention to the church, a larger fellowship
hall that could be rented, I never heard of mission giving, or of a fund
set aside to help needy families in or out of the church,
I guess I fear the world will think that all we Christian people, church
going people are about is building, and making money,
I thought perhaps maybe I was feeling badly because I was of no help,
painting, sawing wood, or installing wiring, but does God want more
buildings, where people go once or twice a week, and leave with no change,
or does He want people to be able to take their hurts and concerns and
learn how to love one another, this can happen in a church setting, or in a
home fellowship as well.
I don't mean to "bash" the bride of Christ, but, if we take a look in the
mirior, and ask God, we should be able to say things in love, sometimes,
people will not hear us, but we can say it.
I am sure you have a hard time, being a pastor's wife, you must feel as
though you are always watched, everything you do is examined,
know I am praying for you!
