Vicki, if you mean, by disability retirement, Social Security benefits, if
you are blind, you don't need any doctor's paperwork. According to the
law, disability for blindness is mandatory, so you can get it if you want
it. I have been off of it for a few year, but with my work being short
hours, I may need to go back on it.
