Jackie,
There is no master/slave relationship with SATA drives, all SATA drives are
"primary" drives.
You may need to enable the second drive in the BIOS is all.

Subject: [PCBUILD] How do you configure a second sata II drive
Hello: I have Asus A8N sli computer -- I have one Maxtor Sata 1 which is set
as Master in the bios I ordered another Maxtor Sata he gave me Maxtor Sata
II 300gb do you just set the configuration in the bios ? I was looking at
it I don't see any jumpers to switch from master to slave that is easily
moved? Is it possible you don't touch the hard drive itself but just
configure it in th bios? Thank you - Jackie
