I just installed windows 2000 on my laptop, what I did was I put the win2000
cd in the cd drive and when the computer started booting up I choose to boot
the computer with the cd rom, and this worked just fine for me, give it a
try and see what happens.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Laptop Installation of Windows 2000
> Hi,

install Windows 2000 on a laptop which has an "A" drive and a "CD-ROM"
drive, but they are interchangeable. I have to put the "A" drive in to boot
up, but when I do that the computer will not recognize the CD_ROM drive when
I have to change them to install Windows 2000. How can I get Windows
installed when I have to keep switching drives?
