Dear All,
I have a friend who thinks she has CD and is going to have this investigated. Her mother has osteoporosis . If she has CD too will going GF now do anything to help the osteoporosis? ( she is in her 70s) or has the damage been done and her bones will not improve. I know her mother had thyroid disease and some of the medications for this can make one loose calcium so this may alone may explain the osteoporosis.
thank you
Tarnya
PS We finally got a diagnosis for my son Sam, IgA deficient and we had to do gluten challenges etc. He has vitiligo also and since going GF again and adding some vitamins and some sunshine his vitiligo is reducing :-)
