There will be a special Mass for Catholic celiacs, their families,
and friends on Saturday November 6, 2004 at noon at the Church of the
Holy Name of Mary, 110 Grand St. Croton On Hudson, New York.

This Mass is an opportunity for Catholic celiacs to come together at
the celebration of the Eucharist. Communion will be offered under
both species (both bread and wine). Celiacs are free to receive the
wine OR the extremely low gluten host developed by the Benedictine
Sisters, OR both. Normal wheat hosts will not be used at this Mass.

There will be a gluten-free get together in the parish hall afterwards.

The altar bread needs to be ordered soon. Please contact Chris
Spreitzer at 914-737-5291 or email [log in to unmask] as soon
as possible if you are planning to attend.

The Catholic Celiac Society is being organized to help Catholic
celiacs understand the issues involved with Holy Communion, and to
help the Catholic Church understand the challenges celiacs face
receiving Holy Communion. This Mass is a special opportunity to more
fully share in the banquet of the Lord. Please join us.
