Hello Keith and interested parties;

I am no JAWS person but the document in question may not have O C R, optical
character recognition done when it was scanned. Email the sender to let them
know your problem?

Subject: Problem with a Word document

: Hi, Listers. I just received a document in MS Word today scanned
supposedly
: into Word by a local office products store. The document shows itself to
me
: a .doc file, but when I load it, the screen appears to be blank. I am
using
: JFW 5.00 with Windows XP Home Edition, and I have also tried this with a
: Windows 2000 machine.
:
: I am wondering if there is anything that I can do in Word or with
Kurzweiul
: to make the document read to me, as it is a resume I need to read prior to
: Tuesday. The view setting is print lay-out, and normal makes no
difference.
: The font is "Times New Roman 12-point".
:
: Any suggestions you can give will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
