Morning all,
Using Win98/SE, Jaws 5.0, and OE6.
Every now and then Jaws shuts down, and I have to re-boot, as we all have
done. After re-booting, I usually go to the Scan Disc file on the C-Drive to
read it and see if the culprit was noted. The following error message comes
up frequently in the file:
"Directory entry
C:\WINDOWS\APPLIC~1\IDENTI~1\{D0638~1\MICROS~1\OUTLOO~1\CLEANUP.LOG
had
an incorrect size.
ScanDisk successfully corrected the directory entry."
In OE, I remove the files in the deleted items folder, and compact the
messages occasionally as a "hope" to keep Jaws from crashing.
Any thoughts on how to make the "correct size" error from re-occuring?
Thanks,
Morey
