Jacob. These are two different programs and neither supports the other.
If you want Winamp as your media player then you reinstall Winamp - not
Windows Media Player. There is no restore so to speak with Windows 98/SE
but what you can do is put the Windows 98/SE disk into your rom tray and
do a reinstall. You will need a sighted person for this. When you do a
reinstall the disk will replace what ever is missing from the operating
system. This however is going to put Windows Media Player on your
machine. I do not use Winamp preferring Media Player but I do have
Winamp 3 on my system. Go to your start menu and select programs. Find
Winamp and open it. Along the top of Winamp you find either text or
icons. Select preferences. On my version of Winamp preferences is the
third icon along the top. When you select preferences a menu will come
up. Under this menu look under system. There will be an option called
media. Select media. When you select media a list will appear with file
type extensions that Winamp can play. You can select which extensions
that you want Winamp to play. You also have the option to choose all or
none. You can select all and Winamp will play all music on your machine.
