Christopher
You make a valid point in that we get used to using what we use most
regularly.
I haven't had Winamp on my system for several years until a week or so ago
when a station I wanted to check out
(wwjb, Brooksville, fl) seemingly wouldn't play on either WMP or RP.
So I installed WinAmp 5.32 and guess what,
I right away had a complaint -- it seemingly wanted to become my default
player and take away associations from other players.
Of course, the problem wasn't Winamp; it was that I hadn't yet figured out
how to configure it.
Once I did, it behaved itself as it should.
And that's the same case with RP and WMP;
once a user learns how to set their preferences, they won't have a
problem.
Out of curiosity, are you able to listen to NFL Field Pass with Winamp?
If so, did you require a plug-in or just the player "as is."
Just curious.
