XP Home
ASUS A8V Deluxe
2 GB RAM
I built this system last winter, and it's worked flawlessly for 9 months.
This started as a very, very slow system, then I realized I couldn't
open my SCSI drives. One SATA, One Raid 0 (I'm fuzzy about SCSI).
System restore, recovery console to no avail. "This disk has an
unrecoverable error", when trying to defrag from XP DOS.
.
Reinstalled windows. At first, the SATA drive didn't work, but now it
does..When I try to open the array in My Computer, I get "I/O error"
All drives are properly identified in Device manager, which says they're
working fine. The array manager identifies the drives properly and says
"":This array is "Functional".
Where do I go from here? I guess it's the motherboard or the drives, but
I'm getting a little bleary eyed and hope to find some suggestions in
the morning.
TIA.
