Yes, but I was trying to make a point that keeping calories to 2900 a day or whatever isn't absolutely necessary -- that you're not going to keel over or whatever even at zero a day.  A counter to this, though, is that I'm at 1500 a day and am exercising vigorously three times a week and that that's not good for me.  I believe that as long as I've enough water, protein, mineral nutriture in the form of potassium and sodium, and bodily fat stores that I go healthily until those bodily stores get too low.  I'm at least a good ten pounds away from that.
