Yes-
1- Get some extra doses of vitamin D either by the sun (but don't get
sunburned) or cod liver oil or vitamin D3 supplements.

2- Red raspberries (high in infection fighting ellagic acid). The seeds
contain the largest amount, but I imagine most pass through without being
digested, or get caught in your teeth! I whiz frozen berries in the blender, strain
out the seeds, dry them in a slow oven (@250) for about 30 minutes, then
pulverize in my coffee mill/spice grinder, put in an empty spice bottle, and
sprinkle back on my food or into my raspberry/coconut smoothies.

3- Good ole' Echinacea
BTW, I have read (though don't have references handy) that sugars (read
carbs) compete with vitamin C for the same receptor sights on the cells, and the
sugars will usually win, which might be why you have found that ketosis helps
you fight off infections- makes more vitamin C available.
OK, so the freezer, the oven, the blender, the coffee mill, and even the
fine strainer aren't Paleo- depends on how strict you want to be!

Hi. Got a cold coming on. Time to go into deep ketosis. That seems to really
help with the symptoms, high fat low carb works better than just about
anything I have tried. Sigh. I love the autumn fruit...
Anyone have any other paleo-type remedies? Thanks.
