Wally-
With these legumes which are edible raw do you know if any are less
problematic than others as far as antinutrients and lectins? I know soy is
"edible" raw (edadmame)sp? but can pose serious problems from a nutrient
binding stand point to say nothing of thier estrogenic effects and molecular
mimicry.
On an unrelated topic I am curious what evryones thoughts are on net acid
base ballance of the diet. In Cordains book he mentions this concept and I
must say I have noticed feeling better including a bit of fruit here and
there even in the winter (prior to this I have followed the protocol in
Lights Out: Sleep, Sugar, and survival. Eating much less carbs during the
winter months...which is a long time in seattle!).
Just curious if others have tracked the variable and if so to what benefit.
