Hello,
After seeing a bit of "low carb and endurance exercise" related posts the
last few days I thought the group might check out the following articles
from Dr. Greg Ellis at:
http://www.targetedbodysystems.com/artspo1.html
http://www.targetedbodysystems.com/artspo2.html
Ellis holds a PhD in Biochemistry with a focus in Fuel Metabolism and has
been involved in the field of nutrition and exercise physiology for some
time. Most of his theories are anti-mainstream as outlined in the above
links and in his recent book, "Ultimate Diet Secrets." The central theme
of the book is the importance of balancing the energy equation via a low
carb diet and physical activity but at nearly 600 pages it covers a
tremendous amount of issues regarding bodyweight control, etc.
