Late this afternoon, our grandchildren, along with one of their cousins, was
playing in a bedroom where the kids used to sleep. This was before their
mom was released from the Christian drug rehab home. This bedroom has a
nice set of bunk beds in it. Our five year old grandson, one of the five
year old boys, that is, rolled off the top bunk and tore the corner of his
mouth. This is Taylor, for those who know our grand kids by name. His mom
took him to the emergency room where, due to the large number of people,
they had to wait a long time. Eventually, he was seen. He was wrapped up
so he couldn't move and a sterilized cloth was placed over his face so just
the surgical area was available. He wasn't any too happy about this whole
procedure, you might say, and it took five stitches. He broke his arm a few
months ago, as some may recall, and he also had to be admitted to a hospital
to have some of his teeth removed several months back. He did a lot of
crying, of course, it is hard for me not to cry just thinking about it, and
he begged them not to keep putting in the stitches. They numbed the area,
of course, but when you are five years old, tied up, and your face is
covered, it is sort of, you might say, scary. His real dad was able to come
to the hospital, too, in order to be with him.

thank you Lord for protecting him.

Phil.
