Ken,
I can; there's been a company around for years that sells the "right" to
name stars. If a star is visible, it's been catalogued, and already
named something like NGC-10075L, but this company will provide you with
a certificate saying that same star is "Janet's Star," or whatever, for
the paltry sum of (I think) $25.00. On my computer, I can generate a
similar certificate, also "suitable for framing" for $5.00 or less.
Kendall Corbett
An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all
progress depends on the unreasonable man.
