The feel better part is in the realization that it could be a whole hell
of a lot worse than it has appeared to be so far... that whole thing
about the clarity of vision when waiting for the noose... and it is a
bright and sunny day outside so count your f'n blessings, as modest as
they may at any one time appear to be.
