Dave, I will be pleased if what you say is true as it may well be. I wonder
what's inside those rubber ducks. Do you know? If, as I suspect, there is
little more than a rather hefty loading coil, designed to compensate for
shorter length, and a conductor, then would you not assume that, in
multi-band handhelds anyway, the rig wants to see special things for each
band in terms of adjusted output circuits?
