I think if you get a good one, they are good radios.  I think you'll find
lemons in all brands.  I have both th-f6 and t90.  I prefer the kenwood
for most things, but I've never had a bit of trouble with either of them.
If you can find someone else with an f6, you might try their battery and
see just where the problem is.
