Lynn,
I wish they would just build the speech modules into the radios and make
them a menu option that you could turn on and off. After all, if you're
driving, it would be nice not to have to take your eyes off the radio
(oops, I mean off the road) to change frequency or set a PL tone. HRO
didn't charge me anything to install the board, although I would have
gladly paid them to do it if they had. They did it as a courtesy, and they
even shipped it out the same afternoon I ordered the radio.
