My son is a cyclist, training intensively. To make matters worse, he
has a fondness for wild-caught fish, especially sashimi, free-range
grass-fed Bison and poultry and so forth. Thankfully, he likes
chicken liver as well. But it becomes obvious when one stops eating
"pretend" food that food costs for an athlete on the Paleo Diet can go
up dramatically. We're in a climate where we have a variety of
wonderful fruit in our back yard. And reasonably priced veggies are
available and we can grow our own. But the fish/meat/poultry side of
things can be very expensive. I'm sure others have dealt with this and
so I'm looking for recommendations, successful actions, etc.. Any
ideas would be greatly appreciated. Bob
