From my reading of Rosedale it seems 2-3 weeks is
needed to switch to fat-burning. This seems to be the
same for other low carb approaches that have a phase 1
or induction phase for 2 weeks,
For a little while I was sleeping well when I was
using coconut oil (1 -2 Tbsp per meal) but it seems
that I am having reactions to it or at least for some
reason it is giving me problems (itchiness and throat
irritation). Perhaps you might want to try it if you
try low carb again.
