Interestingly enough an old remedy for a cold or flu is rubbing a
persons chest with goosefat. For coughs, pneumonia, and other
lungproblems it was THE remedy.
Never tried it but it's worth considering. Might get chased by all the
dogs in the neighbourhood though ;-)
