I had an enquiry about using certain types of cholesterol drugs when one has
CD. Unfortunately, I did not word my post correctly. I was inquiring about
drugs that take the fat out of the intestines by causing the fat to cling to
the drug and be eliminated before it can go into the blood stream. I was
concerned that with so many other intestinal and gastric problems that this
sort of drug would only add to my intestinal distress.
Most people stated that they did not feel that drugs were the answer for
cholesterol or even that it was cholesterol that was the problem, but many
other factors that caused poor heart/blood vessel health. There were many
that said that statin drugs served them well and they had no problems with
it. Thanks to all who responded. Here are some of the replies.
