Adding Accessible Bells and Whistles to Web Design
Advanced Barrier-free Web Design, a month-long, online course beginning
December 2 http://easi.cc/workshops/advwbsyl.htm
EASI's online barrier-free Web design courses focus on the needs of web
designers who are not experts in using HTML code and who do not want to
become HTML experts. Increasingly, the web authoring tools you use enable
you to add more advanced features to your web site. What you need from
EASI is how can you, without becoming HTML experts, make these features
accessible to users with disabilities. Advanced Barrier-free Web Design
provides you with the ability to produce accessible web pages that include
more advanced web features without having to bury yourself in technical
jargon and technical details. Because of the December holidays, this course
will spill over into the first week of January. The more detailed syllabus
including registration fees and online registration is at
http://easi.cc/workshops/advwbsyl.htm
EASI courses can earn continuing education units, and 5 of the courses will
earn the Certificate in Accessible Information Technology.
