Not an overwhelming response to the question I posted a bit regarding
Stonyfield's farm and their Yogurt. A number of people were interested
in my response and a few thanked me for my information on pastry.

As for information on the yogurt I only have the information I got
directly from the manufacturers. I spoke to someone at Stonyfields and
also got an email form their dietician both saying the same thing. What
I got was pretty much their party line. Because they use a process
extracting their natural flavors that may leave traces of Gluten they
will not claim their flavored products are gluten free. Their plain,
fat free, whole milk and low fat yogurts are considered gluten free.

A few people questioned why we don't just use another brand yogurt as
both Colombo and Yoplait claim to be gluten free (For those that are
interested these two are manufactured by the same parent company). Our
preference for Stonyfield farms is due to the fact that they are
completely Organic. In particular they don't use Milk that contains
rBGH (Bovine Growth Hormone) or Aspartame or other artificial sweeteners
(they use sugar imagine that).

I also contacted Danon, they are not Gluten free. Colombo and Yoplait
said to simply read the ingredients on the label as it will say exactly
what is in the product (frankly I find that a bit hard to believe).

Tom
